Where can I park?
There are two nearby paid parking lots, metered street parking, and limited free parkingat the Spinnaker. Please do not park in the SYC parking lot.
Do I need prior sailing experience to sign up?
Basic sailing skills are strongly recommended. Summer programs at SYC and other yacht clubs offer introductory FJ classes.
How can I / my child get involved?
Sign up via the clubspot link on the homepage (while registration is open) or feel free to reach out via our email/Instagram (found under "Contact Us")!
What gear should I bring to practice?
Required: closed-toed shoes, life jacket, wetsuit or full spray gear, helmet
Optional: gloves, sunglasses
Are sailors required to attend regattas?
Regattas are not mandatory, but sailors are expected to put effort into the team.
